Auto-Lock Gates
These are safety gates that lock by themselves when shut.
Extensions
These are devices fitted to baby safety gates in doorways that are wider
than average, or used as dividers for apportioning a large room into
baby safe and unsafe zones.
One Hand Release
A type of lock that makes a child safety gate easier to use when holding
the baby.
Pressure Fit/Pressure Mounted Gates
These are safety gates that are attached to the wall or doorframe without
the use of screws and adhesives. These are usually sliding pressure
bars that adjust to the width of the doorway or doorframe, and are then
locked in place by a locking device.
Standard Gates
These are safety gates capable of adjusting to doorways or door frames
measuring 2.5 feet to over 4 ft in width.
Two Way Opening
These are child safety gates that can open and close in both directions.
Wall Mounted
These are safety gates that can be fixed firmly to the walls with screws.
It is a firmer barrier compared to a pressure mounted type.
